The Whimsical Pig was started in 1998 by Andy Burnett. The Pig", as it is called by close friends and family, was begun as a creative outlet for a new stay at home mom.
Andy has more than 15 years retail experience in sales, management, and corporate dealings, along with a degree in Architecture from Texas A&M University and Secondary Art Education certification from St. Mary's University. These experiences mixed with a love for sewing, an addiction to fabric, and an eye for unique children's things has kept "The Pig" busy busy busy!
Various "friends of The Pig" have made many contributions over the years, cutting, ironing, and decoupaging at all hours of the night... Thanks to an avid team of helpers, crafty mom-friends, and shopaholic sidekicks, The Whimsical Pig continues to turn out fun and exciting things for your kids and ours (along with a few fun things for ourselves!)!
The Whimsical Pig items can be purchased through our website, various boutiques in the US, or through trunk shows in individual homes.
